This webtoon though, it sucks. It sucks so fkking bad that the author should sue whoever decided in the pacing for this. I loved the story but the execution if so bad that makes everything boring

If you refer to the Contaminated Cherry Tomatoes, nope. In the webnovel, Sejun develops two kinds of plants to fight the locusts, some kind of bladegrass herbs with low nutrition value but literal blades as leafs and another with detoxifiying properties, especially effective against toxin locusts (evolved version of the locusts). Inside the Tower Sejun defeats completely the locust invasion using these two plants and his animal gang. Keep in mind that I have read only until the second crocodrile noble appears and there's still an ongoing locust invasion on Earth so maybe there could be a Cherry Tomatoes vs locusts showdown down the line

After chapter 42 the last author's braincell died, you can tell from how dumb the story becomes at that point
