You are out of your mind with that comment. If anything she made more of an attempt than he ever did. He isn't some innocent victim, he never even gave her a chance, he just ended it without even seeking the truth. Just continued hanging out with his female friend without even giving Reina a second thought. Hell he seemed to hang out with his female friend far more often than with Reina. He isn't even remotely innocent of blame.

At the very least more information on the matter seems to be in vol.7 of the light novel.

That moment is probably the moment he saw her holding hands with someone else. If that happens to be the case then I called it that he jumped to conclusions, didn't even try to understand what was happening and didn't even properly ask what happened, only automatically assumed she was cheating. Simply holding someone else's hand isn't automatically cheating. It would come across even more that he isn't some victim but simply an idiot incapable of talking properly with her and seeking the truth. If that was indeed the moment he saw then she was telling the truth that she wasn't cheating.

Doing that would be the opposite of common sense.

I doubt they are actually giving respect to the king. It might seem that way on the outside but they probably plan on staying in order to keep him in check. Also he did go too far by bringing the knife to the king's throat. That could have brought the entirety of the kingdom against them plus whatever allies the kingdom has. It's certainly not an intelligent move in that kind of world. Let's not forget, he might he good at dodging but he can't dodge everything and he isn't immortal.

It survives because it's a good series. You also don't speak for everybody so saying "not one person is happy with this conclusion" makes no sense. It would have been more idiotic had he harmed the king thus turning the entire thing into a much bigger issue. At least with this outcome they can keep an eye on the king and foil his plans further if they stay around.

That 1200 years line is possibly a typo. It's probably supposed to be 12 years or something. Unless he actually is 1200 years old.

Some readers hate him for those reasons, not readers in general. I doubt the majority of readers hate him. Also there is nothing wrong with him acting "unhuman-like". What does acting "human-like" even actually mean?
