Btw there are a lot of stories the character creates clones or doubles that become self sentient and kill people. Character gets usually blamed for it, but rarely credited. Also that reminds me of the ice king and his heart from adventure time.

Sorry I read a lot of wuxia novels. In some of these they cultivate/meditate over concepts to reach the next evolution. Some do that with their killing intent so it becomes even tangible. It can even be used to kill others. Renegade Immortal is such a story. There are also other stories that implement wuxia growth system with game system. So imagine the system says you killed a couple of billion people and gives you the appropriate killing intent. If you start cultivating you become a very accomplished demonic cultivator, who can breaches through the nascent soul stage like nothing.

The artist is really good. I think he could have handled that in 2 pages. The first meeting with mother and a training montage would be worth 2-3 chapters.
