So here's the thing. There IS an interesting concept to be had in a cheapskate person having to spin gaccha to save the world. What drags it down is twofold:

1. This is told full on comedy style, so there are never any stakes, even when there should be obvious ones. Taking the story seriously is thusly a mistake.
2. Either by editor mandate or by the author's own hand, there's a lot of mild to sometimes heavy Ryouna mixed in with the heroine vs monster battles. If that's not your bag, you definitely will not like this book.

tl;dr this is the highest brand of empty calorie junk food, minus any actual lewdness that would at least promise somewhat of a better time. There's plenty of panchira, though.
