Sheer curiosity had me reading the story from this argument. I can safely conclude the romance plot is largely irrelevant. Particularly since the author falls into the standard trappings of giving the "past memories" plot hook lipservice without actually diving into its benefits and notable defects. MC is building a world, she's having a shoujo romp that a girl her age should not be. The two are decidedly incompatible.

The context clue is the fact MC was capable of being a Sage, which technically is also in the league of a "magical emperor", thus making a translation as magic emperor pretty redundant.
