In direct Chinese pinyin, yes. But this is Korean manhwa, so the wording may have been different. Although... if the wording is "heartless" as you said, would you have an argument as to why the MC think that it is lame? I'm opinion-welcome on this talk as it is debatable until proven.

That's why I said MAY HAVE right at the first sentence. Pay attention.

Translation gimmick:
The "WuXin Style" mentioned here may have been supposedly named as "Martial God Style", as it could be a direct translation of 武神 in Chinese which means "martial god". The reason MC called it lame because it would sound like his own moniker and titled martial arts and skills (he was literally the Martial God in his past life) were meant for nothing more than to slay monsters.

Although to be direct, his martial art was actually inclined closer to the "Poor Man's Style" as he originated his own martial path using ANYTHING he could get his hands on as a weapon or form, from the simplest cutlery like forks and spoon, to gardening tools like hoes and scythes. This was once mentioned by the MC himself in the tens of chapters ago.

Good point, his forms also reflects what their riders are in need or desire of, as shown of his forms with everyone of the 7th Unit. For Kyouka, its subservience; For Himari, its simplicity (as her ability is too versatile, occasionally looking back at roots is best); For Shushu, its straightforwardness; For Nei, its to seek (as vision alone isn't clairvoyance).

My bet is somewhere between 1 and 3. Reason being that Tenka is one of the few who sees him as an equal, noticeably that his ability has a higher capacity and compatability for those who gave him proper respect. As it was shown via his forms with Konomi (friendly relationship despite their ranks), Bell and Varvara (fellowship for power and respect); In contrast to his form with Kyouka and Ren (subservient to dominating attitude) where his limit is easily seen.

Given how Yuuki's varying form compliments the alternative of his "masters", I can't wait to see what his form would be when Tenka rode him.

There's a reason why I bolded some words in case I'm gonna write a long ass comment.

Just a rank or two above squires, since they were also guardians of this gate who fought to seal the Demon Lord.

Its super obvious at this point. If not, its an easy review knowing that there was only one player who made it to the top of the tower, and its none other than the MC himself.

Indeed, the war is at hand yet humans are still sticking onto pointless disputes. To make sure things dies down immediately, a NEW REPUTABLE RULER is needed.

Furthermore, his best cash cow is his fiancée, the next best thing is already roaming under his indirect supervision, and the third best thing is being played by him (literally) at the moment.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you THREE TYPICAL CANNON FODDERS in this chapter!!!

Behind... CURTAIN NUMBER ONE! Everybody's typical VILLAIN MOB character who is jealous of the MC's talents and achievements. A spoiled brat who ONLY WISHES FOR THINGS to happen such as the demise of others without doing it by their own two hands! A true lazy dumbass to the core if you ask me! So much for having a good family that supports you and being a talent yourself, yet only took things for granted thus far! A loser like him might as well be a villain than a main character, no?

Behind... CURTAIN NUMBER TWO! Your average lovesick side character who dreams for the emcee's girl. As much as I personally want to cheer for his success for love, NOT KNOWING HIS OWN DISPOSITION, his own placing and ranking, and only intend to know her by just stalking her is a big ass red alert warning to others even if your love interest ain't even a girl, no? For God's sake, at least earn your reputation and status for real before declaring your feelings to her, much less appearing yourself of equal status, stop acting like a toad wanting to eat swan meat (Chinese proverb)!

And finally, behind... CURTAIN NUMBER THREE! Your typical noble's younger underachieving brother with only how powerful their elder siblings and families are to brag and show off. Another pure-bred spoiled, shitty ass loser whose only good thing is NOTHING ABOUT THEMSELVES, I might as well sing Bruno Mars' Lazy song to describe this guy at this point, I'm too lazy to write this repetitive sh*t, but f*ck me for writing this long ass comment anyway.

She had the fear alright, but I don't see the respect part.

No God would want their preacher to die after all.

Aka you're technically f*cked the moment you know that being exists or stand before you.

Fair, this god did say that from the beginning. But she did nothing deserving of that power either way - that's my point, whereas the MC, Sir Geovrick and his soon-to-be successor had faith and honor.

Also, the God of the Seas also said there's a difference between a Saintess (one who follows the virtues) and a follower (one who only follows the one before), and she hasn't even do either. The only reason she got those powers is only because He didn't want her to die.

PS: You have a point, but my argument still stands.

Yes, I know this, but what has she done to earn His powers? He only lent them just to prevent her die.

I don't mean to sound like a hater. But what did Han Hari do to earn her such divine powers straight off? She had zero faith, zero respect to the Gods, not to mention not even trying at all to protect the statues, thus eventually created this shithole, and you tell me she just gets this awesome power by suddenly believing?

You're not feeling it wrong, the MC gave them a befitting death as assassins who are prepared to kill and be killed.
