Dude, these emcees literally have plot armor (aka Fortune Values), which means they at least have three or all of the following:
- Random BS inate talent
- Random BS OP constitution (powerful bodies)
- Random BS luck to not only hit jackpots, but also survive deadly situations
- Random BS OP and talented companion, master or mentor
- Random friends in high places who believe in whatever they say without logic or reasoning, just emotion and guts

Compare all that to Master Gu's system which only explains how things work and only rewards him if he successfully kill emcees? The system is pretty much irrelevant and insignificant in comparison to any of those boons LMAO.
