The why use blaze blood comes down to not wanting to have the NPC forever disappear. The reason the health bar disappeared was due to a "fatal strike" which insta-kill enemies. Hitting heart, cutting off heads, or other "vital" areas can lead to kill even if it has 100 health bars. More ATK PWR would mean getting through armor to cleave the head off

Usual attack formation should be tank front, melee 45° diagonal sides, mid-range melee behind shield, next row mage and healer. even with their reduced party magic & healer together and both melees front line, mage can support both healer in case of ambush or melee fighters
