• bet he can channel mana at extreme speed to activate spells that cost (X > 10MP).
- fire arrow = 2MP to cast + more MP channeled = more destructive fire arrow
OR
• bet MC just cascades spells at terrifying speeds to achieve what looks like multi-casting
- all magic spells cost ≤ 10MP

• combination of cascade AND channel which would be the real plot armor MVP

Just as a continued thought i made: Taxes are used for
• education
• road maintenance
• government jobs
• country taxes (nobility pays for this in feudal governments)
• territory defense

The tax cut is a double edged sword, but I'm fairly certain the goal is to get more villagers to come which would then cause in influx of economy introduced to the territory. It would also help with the export of products to other areas. The problem lies in other territories placing an embargo on the products being shipped out of this territory in an attempt to stop their own territory from losing people and losing business as lower taxes mean export prices drop thus sales price can become more competitive. There are a bunch of other factors in economics but these two are the immediate concerns to think about. Especially when concerning nobles which are often known for having territory wars
