Just realized how messed up that auto ability is, cause its like sleeping but isnt cause he's still gets tired so he's shaving his life away with that ability. Also, he doesnt gain any actual skill from it, like he doesnt become a better fighter himself, he has to rely on the auto every time

Not an expert on cults specifically but it seems to happen because they have the right audience, cults are usually filled with people seeking purpose in life and structure. So people that are good citizens, for example, if you follow the rules all your life, work a job and still get screwed over, you'll look for another outlet where you can follow the rules but be rewarded in a substantial way instead; and most times for people the thing they look for is recognition. So being able to meet the leader of the cult is like being able to meet your boss, not just a manager, and then having your boss say they are glad to meet you and give you a kiss on the forehead like a parent would do a child, could be exactly what most people, disillusioned with society, are desperately looking for and can also be why its so hard to remove someone from a cult when that's all they were raised to strive for. Then there is the added bonus that a cult is not your family nor your parents, so logically in your mind you would reason that you have to keep providing a service to continue getting what you want, like at work if your boss personally came in to thank you for all the hard work you do, it makes sense that you are not owed that so you will continue to work hard or even harder for another visit instead of monetary gain. Its great because its a self elected mind control, you decide on your own that the recognition is worth it so you keep doing it, so if you hope that this never happens to your loved ones, take the time and effort to celebrate their successes and check up on their stress levels

I think they are giving more spotlight to the corpses so we can put them on the same spot as the water lady and then not want either side to have any loses, rather than just hating the bad guys cause they are evil incarnate like water boy when he was alive

I still feel like, with finding that the judge was a spy, just someone being trusted isnt enough. There should have been more processing involved and tighter security, within the world building.
