Okay I'm actually kinda into this. The balance of a bad ass dude and his general awkwardness around people is nice. Dude had to grow up fast and endure a lot of pain for his mother's sake and never really got to go to school to learn how to make friends or socialize. Leading to him having a communication problem, so he just doesn't talk much. It's nice.

Nice ending. The message is somewhat muted by the fact that he got the exact kind of past he wanted, but I guess he was always making moves with the idea of a better future too?

All the timeline stuff was neat. Fated love and crud like that is something I was hoping the story wouldn't go for, but it's sweet nonetheless.

Art was great and MC was surprisingly likeable. Moral of the story: The person you love probably loved and fucked someone just as much as they do you now and their affection ain't actually something special. So don't bother looking into past crap cuz that fact will just mess with your head over garbage you can't change. If ya got a hot wife you've got a hot wife. Let that be the end of the story in your book.
