the author was cooking for most of this series, but holy hell... the stuff leading up to this ending was ridiculous. 1. the mother claimed the husband locked her and sachi up, so why didn't they bring them to the station to start an investigation? why did they return the handcuffs, it should've been evidence. was the father even arrested? 2. haru is not only a civilian, but a prime suspect for a kidnapping. he should've been in jail, not helping the cops take down the mother. why did he even sneak in by himself in the first place? why did the cops take so long to help? 3. sachi getting stabbed through the hand like that was crazy. she shouldn't have even been around them when the mother was arrested, she should've been rushed to an ambulance. 4. the mother should've been arrested with her hands behind her back. those cops need to be fired. also, haru's death was just pointless. it didn't change or benefit the theme, the ending, anything. the author killed him cause of their age difference and to prevent romance, that's the only explanation for it...
just had to vent cause so much stupid stuff right before the ending, this manga should've been a 10/10, just kind of disappointed
