Seeing how those times worked? The strong dictate the weak. And seeing how the average person is weak, if they're told to do something by the strong (like the king, his people, or the guards), they'll have to do it. Human rights aren't "rights" if they can be taken away. In that era, they are taken away, pretty frequently too.

To link it to a real life example: the flat-earth movement that's happening in real life today -> would've just ended within an hour after the morons pushing that agenda get killed.

Yes, it is a trope that keeps popping up, but it isn't a bad trope... it's just overused because Mr. Main Character is OP in so many works that it is accompanied by this very trope.

Well, if you're looking at the comments wondering whether you would enjoy reading this, then you'll learn that the comments keep pointing out how the second half is bad.

To explain: after the first season, this manhwa seemed to be under the threat of being axed. This threat hung over it like the Sword of Damocles and it caused it resulted in a pretty heavy quality loss in both the art and the plot. Chapter 100 should've been just "end of season 2" AND it should've happened around chapter 125 or something.
Importantly: there is no more of Kris getting to completely lose herself over something, which was always a fun highlight of events; no more this:

Sadly, as it is now, season 1 is great. Like 8 or 9 out of 10 - while season 2 is like 3 or 4 our of 10. Be wary of this and enjoy it. I really do think that season 1 is worth reading.

Overall, this manhwa starts off with a pretty fantastic season 1 but falls off. The lingering axing of this manhwa acted like a Sword of Damocles which resulted in it not only being rushed, but also dropping the quality. It's a shame.

... Sure, but thanks to this chapter, I've just been sitting around rereading "Hero? I quit a long time ago." I forgot just how expedient this manhua is when it comes to setting up new arcs, having a massive action sequence -> and just moving onto a new arc already without much down time.

This is effectively the Chinese Iteration of Onepunch Man. I do recommend it for the bombastic action sequences, crazy plotlines, decent humor and stuff.
So like uh... 8/10. Pretty good.


If you're worried about the random complaint about time travel, it is actually really simple: Mr. Main Character time travels to an alternative timeline -> fights, wins -> and goes home. It is just used to introduce a new setting for an arc and that's it. This manhua does NOT do that stupid dance of messing around with all that time travel logic or whatever.

The translators maybe not have done a good job at bringing it across, but Magic President is the master of Golden Black Hole. He doesn't know much about the OTHER groups.

Even so, they'll still take it. We have technology and over time, it'll become better and better until it is near perfection. That one foot in the grave? They'll chop it off and get a better prosthetic leg. If they don't die due to old age, it doesn't matter if it takes 1,000 years, they'll eventually get there.
