Memory is driven by emotion and repetition, if it's something that struck you strongly in a pleasant way or an unpleasant way either way it's what your brain will remember, if information is merely necessary to you but you haven't instilled it emotionally ( or alternatively repeated to the point that it is drilled into your brain) as something highly valuable you're more likely to forget it.

Going off the fact that she looks like the main character, her general vibe and his reaction to her being there, she is either his long lost sister that was actually raised instead of abandoned like he was, a long lost relative or just another person that was born with that curse s*** the main character has, but if I'm following genre tropes it's probably sister.

I mean he could always hang with anybody in class b but he doesn't even consider that semi-viable. Even if no one else wants to hang Lord knows the main character(the book protagonist) is down to hang out.

I kind of like the energy he has, it's like observing the happy-go-lucky shounen protagonist from an outside view.

Slums vs. cities is one thing but in this case both sides are bustling cities, just a century or two apart as far an architecture and technology. It's strange to see without a clear explanation.

He has the backstory of a villainous team member of a sports drama, it kind of makes you want to root for him

Going off of the quality of Mithril in this world being something that negates magic, I imagine the mithril kills dead mells so effectively because they're made of essentially lumps of flesh and magic, and the reason you're still able to kill them with magic is that while they have high regen and durability magic can just overpower both traits, if I want to make the most of limited materials in this case though I'd probably try to find some way to aerosolize the mithril, essentially make a dead meal dissolving cloud of heavy air(wide range of effect can handle an entire horde at once, it's essentially the equivalent of using gasoline and molotovs on a horde of zombies.)

I guess the logic on some level is that you get to have a dark serious series, with actual dangerous threats while simultaneously plastering half your pages with T&A/"fan service", (sweet non-consensual "Fan service" just like the Shogun wanted), either that or one series did it, got popular, and the rest ripped it off.

The moment he said new weapon I knew it was just going to be a gun, every time for every fantasy series if they have developed some new ultra deadly weapon it's either a gun or a fantasy nuke, and occasionally it means homunculus.
