after the last time I said something about his int stat, I hesitate to say anything about what happened in this chapter but it kind of feels like an 'I told you so moment', just saying. but I am glad the story is moving along and his powers are being used more intrinsically rather than a brute force learning.

i was in that camp for a while just like you. it is not fun to watch humans fail to live up to what the ideal of society should be. i would say the only way to become less jaded is to just search and fill yourself with the community that is going align with what you want out of life. at least in that way you can have some hope to not be let down by the broader world. i follow the philosophy of giving everyone a blank slate with a title of what i deem them to be or what impact they could have on me in a negative way, then once they prove me wrong, i will open up just a little as to not get hurt more than necessary. i do apologize for not using sentence structure though, and it is okay to give up and be cynical about humanity. it comes with life and the information age we live in. the veil is off and as in the matrix the reality we thought was there is not what appeared to be.
