I always knew that our muscles tend to tense up to block the blood vessels when too much blood have been lost all at once which is why people dont automatically die due to blood loss when they lose their arms.

Ok so what you're talking about is the creativity and imagination, or insight, that comes with problem solving skills. I can see the point here, but I dont think that that too cannot be overcome/attained with effort. There comes a difference in those aspects within people, and its mostly the environment where they grew up in that makes the difference. Perhaps that's one aspect of talent, but its not a limiting factor that makes hardwork less significant. The ability to use knowledge beyond its intended use, I believe, can also be trained. Video games, for example, encourages people to be creative. I still don't agree with defining this aspect as talent.

I also dont agree how adaptability is part of talent. Adaptability is just another way to call problem solving skills. A person who grew up on scarcity will learn to be more adaptable, the scarcity factor is part of luck, but the learning factor is both talent (instincts of a living being) and of course the hardwork and effort that comes along with it. I think hardwork would still be more significant here since the instinct to live isn't random like genetics and luck, its innate to everyone. A scarce enviroment too can be simulated.

Now I only added chess as an example to prove my point on how hardwork is essentially a bigger defining factor for one's future over talent. That was the main point of discussion after all.

Also, don't worry. These are all my understanding of these concepts too, and I am enjoying this discourse with you.
