Basing this on the personality and how Fang Yuan handled stuff like this (cuz they're similar demons) then it depends. If his death will help the mc then he will die, he will be killed without hesitation. But I think he will either die first from the hands of the sect leader or the others (and obviously the mc wont bother saving him) or that he will be forgotten for how useless he is. This all depends on how the story unfolds.

Idk why you won't take the point here. They already endangered their own life, the same thing is gonna happen to the others if they kept it up. And yes, if they are in danger then the others will try to save them. And honestly, if all they're worth is just giving the enemy more targets to hit and more pressure then they're no more better than sandbags. They probably would've been better off used as a lure or a bait since their role can be replaced by anyone, even by the mc himself.

Also, the battle front is a teamwork. You should cover for the blind spots of the others, and the others would cover for your own blind spots. No one is dumb enough (except these guys) to not fight seriously when their lives is on the line. The mc made a mistake in trusting them to be not dumb enough to do that.


There's no 'at least' here, saving each other is their responsibilities, it's the bare minimum. Especially for these criminals since they're even getting paid to do this.

Personally like it despite those flaws. Figured some stuff doesnt need answers, thats just life is. Also wish that they did expand more on how they dealt with his death, they could've done more build up to make it more impactful.

So you got a guy that got reincarnated in the body of a teenager who got killed by an assassin, the assassin coming from an assassination group who took the request for this teenager to die. Then by chapter three we see this same group of assassins being so concerned about children dying in fire as if they're the oh so good saints when they just literally killed a teenager. When the mc got reincarnated, he killed the same assassin who killed the original body, and then he also saved the children from the burning building, then we get this same group of assassins go "wow hes so strange why did he do that" as if self defence and saving innocent people is such a huge contradiction. The shittiest part is where they tried recruiting the mc. I lost it then. I wish I can just turn off my brain and read this since its interesting enough but if this is how it will be for future chapters then its a big no for me.

Nope. They wouldnt be able to release it in Japan without the censorship so why would they bother drawing those things just to cover it up? You could probably pay an artist to edit it and add them for you.

Probably the same reason why a foreigner in a manga is always blonde with blue eyes or brown hair with green eyes. Or when an 'easterner' in fantasy stories have long black hair and black eyes, wearing a kimono. Fck it, its probably the same thing when westerners belive that Asia is made up of four countries, China Japan and the Koreas. Or how they'd point at all their traditional clothes and say that they're all kimonos. Or how they cant differentiate faces from a different race as them.

But they are fighting with their life on the line. They are part of a team, fighting in a common goal. I'd rather have no one at my back than having people like this, people you thought you could rely on but were actually slacking off. They endangered their life by not taking it seriously, they're gonna do the same to others.

Ill try an analogy where youre in a group project with some people, the roles and their part are all divided equally. You do your part seriously and expected the others to do the same, and when the deadline comes up they show up with nothing. You'd wish that you just did everything by yourself at that point. Ive experienced this a lot of times before. Now what they have in stake here isn't just some group project but lives of those who cannot run away. They didn't take it seriously because they thought that they're strong enough to get away with it if things gets too rough. Theyre criminals anyways, why would killing them be harsh if they're that useless.

Its not even just the art but the way they write it too. It became a copy paste junk food that lost its charm. I didn't mind the slow pacing and the way that felt because the way they write it is interesting enough but this one... it felt like it lost that "passion" that the previous arts style had. This sht fell off I daresay.
