The creation of Albert Brudzewski, the teacher of Copernicus? This is speculative fiction -- little is known about his youth.

So the end for Chinatsu was like the end for Karasuno (Haikyu!) -- losing in the quarter-finals... good enough to be respectable but didn't make it all the way. Making it all the way has to be handled delicately or a sports manga verges on being magical (how did a bunch of misfits beat a bunch of well-trained strong conventional players?)

Now to see what the author does with Taiki! Chinatsu will be free to cheer for him.

Try to undermine his marriage; he will undermine your company!

Much she talked about God, it was likely Deism (the watchmaker god who creates the world and lets it go its own way), not the God of the Bible who is always active with mankind. And as such, Jolanta violated the law "Do not murder," which applies to yourself as well (suicide).

I have not read ahead, and so I ask, when are we going to see Copernicus?

Interesting that the author knew about the Hussites. Innovators in war technology. Followers of Proto-Reformer Jan Hus. Wanted to be served the wine as well as the bread at communion. Hus did teach the superiority of Scripture to church tradition, but I'm not sure how much the Hussites maintained that.

So this is coming to an end. A pity... cute characters who gather around good food, together with a happy marriage.

They are just different shades of black. Nothing comes from nothing. God declares hundreds of times in the Bible that He created the cosmos. And, the Bible is an accurate historical document. The ancient Romans and Greeks that read the Gospels were challenged by eyewitness reports, which was their standard for history. The same applied to Septuagint, which was again the product of eyewitnesses, or, those given direct revelation of the past from God. Thus, you have a personal God, not like that of the Deists -- He knows you personally: everything you do, say, or think. The inquisitors were unbelievers of a different sort -- Pharisees who made up their own religion, rather then limiting themselves to what the Bible taught.

So far, there are no good parties in this manga. They all don't believe the Bible, and trust in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation.

Prior to the Reformation the RC church was just a power game. Dominate governments, extract money from those who feared the church.

I agree, though when there are large delays, readers drop off. This is a constant regarding manga. Far better to be regular and slow, than to be intermittent with large hiatuses.

I am reminded of "Food Wars." What's the best way to become excellent in running a restaurant? Is it serving customers, or learning the latest techniques? Because of Souma Yukahira and some of his friends that had restaurant experience, Food Wars tilts in favor practical experience, but nonetheless Souma learns from the academy. He has learned from his parents. Now he will learn from experience.

I won't kill you. I had dreams when younger, but found that being practical was better than something that could not pay the bills. Raised eight children. Pioneered a variety of new techniques as an investment actuary. I am mostly unknown as I worked for medium-sized firms when I did my best work. We can't change the desires of the past. We can enjoy the present; I am still doing creative things in finance.

Sadly, the problem was with the medieval church, not the Bible. The Bible does not teach geocentricity. The medieval church did not teach the Bible, but the traditions of the church. They didn't let the people have the Bible in their own language. They forbade the people from reciting the Lord's Prayer and the Ten Commandments in their own language. The leaders of the medieval church were greedy politicians who wanted to continually absorb what the members gave via taxation, rather than free giving. More than the atheists, the Roman church hated the Bible, except where their misinterpretations supported them.

No, prejudice and hate are normal, not taught. Anyone who has interacted with children knows that. Someone teaching them such will amplify it, but it is easily engendered even without teaching. They naturally form cliques. The pretty and powerful exclude those who are not so. Children who are abnormal get marginalized. Those that are really bright get hated by lesser students. Small children get picked on, as do ugly children.

Instead, we have to teach children to be loving. It is not native, and most adults don't have the ability to teach it.

Even though the Reformation did not initially endorse Heliocentricity, it took the Reformation to end Geocentricity, and end condemning people without fair trials.

Condemning anyone without two witnesses goes against everything the Bible teaches. The heretics are the inquisitors.

When you have to run -- run! It is not a time to talk theory and past dealings.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Being content with just enough and mutual love. Can I bore you all with a story?

39 years ago, I didn't have much. $2000 in the bank, and the offer of a job at a small life insurer paying $28,000. With the aid of a friend-of-a-friend who dealt the diamond district in San Francisco, I went to buy my girlfriend an engagement ring. I wanted it to be special -- a diamond, a ruby and an emerald, in a triangular pattern. But that would exceed $2000 I learned, and so I settled for red and green garnets rather than the ruby and emerald. She accepted my proposal, and she loved the ring. Many commented on how distinctive and unusual it was.

Well, our marriage has been a happy one. We raised 8 kids, 5 of whom were adopted, and now we are empty nesters with 6 grandchildren, and 2 on the way. But recently my wife had problems with the ring. Out of a need to do physical therapy, she took the ring off, and then couldn't get it back on. She took it to jeweler to get it resized, and the jeweler pointed out some other wear-and-tear issues. My wife then sent me to talk with the jeweler about the cost issues. I decided to give her back the ring I originally wanted to give her. The ring was redone with a ruby and an emerald. Two nights ago, I gave it to my wife, who is not materialistic, and she was impressed with its beauty. She said to me "Why did you do this?" and I said, "Because you are worth it. Originally, I wanted to give you this ring, and now you have it."

Relative to the manga, my point is this: It takes an adequate amount of resources to have a happy marriage. Difficult to do it with nothing, but you don't need to be rich -- you just need to be content with what you have, and with each other. That's why I found this chapter to be beautiful, and extra touching, given what I have gone through in my marriage from the start until now.
