I'm always afraid of series with these themes because they either focus entirely on what seems to be the last run, or they get bogged down in the weeds of a cycle, and instead of glossing over the similarities, they seem focus almost entirely on what is the same.
Chapter 20 of this series is Chapter 70 of the other more nuanced series.
The desire to write things to a degree of precision to avoid being misunderstood is a significant issue more often than not. π
Why write something that could cause further misunderstanding, except when doing so adds to the process of writing? ππΌββοΈπ
Just enough panels to complete the fight setup in the last chapter, and leave us with a small amount of information, and another cliffhanger... I'm going to put this series on hold... It's only worth reading when you have at least a dozen or two dozen chapters to go through it seems...
The VR here is far far more advanced than anything we have IRL.
Think about it... The VR here, and in many other series, are like MRI machines on steroids that have been shrunk down, and have what could currently be considered a world class super computer with a ton of Nural processing cores, plus some some yet to be determined methods to intercept the Nural signals from the brain, and feed equivalent information directly into the relevant parts of the brain in a way that can be easily decoded and recognized by the vast majority of human brains.
Such technology doesn't really exist, even in theory, and the closest we have, require invasive procedures to accomplish.
While I have ideas about what technologies could be adapted for such things...that's a far cry from theory, and even further away from something that could theoretically be built.
Disregarding everything that could cause a delay in creating such technological development, I would place this to arrive, at the soonest, out to the 2060s at the current rate of progress... However, considering some of the variables that are likely to get in the way... Namely Capitalism itself... I would place it as more likely to happen in a century from now... So 2125? Possibly? Though that's Still a bit optimistic in some senses... But considering the pace of technology in the past century... Much more probable.
Unless there's an intervention of sorts like OOParts, and other scenarios that get brought up in similar series, that causes humanity to advance technological development at an even higher speed... Borderline cancerous speeds if you get what I mean.
Anyways, thanks for reading the monolog. ππΌββοΈπ
I guess it fits with the naming senses of the series so far. π€ππΌββοΈπ
That look of incredulity was hilarious π
Not bad, and is a somewhat new take on the relevant genres.
Nor does it net any non-tangible benefits to engage in stealing.
Such behavior usually gets you sidelined in the long term.
Yes, ego plays a role, but why should I cater to the whims of the few, when I can have fun writing?
Also, it's a learning experience. I learned a lot of words simply from how they were used in specific context, and if we go over what has been written so far... It's appropriate for me to use words like that, to lock down the meaning of my commentary.
Getting upset with me, and making assumptions about me is entirely out of context for the situation at hand.
I haven't made any assumptions about you, to my knowledge, at this point in time, so why did you take the objectively immature route to do so on your part?
That said, hanging out with friends wouldn't be a bad idea of it was an option.
As for romance... Why would you assume it'd be with a girl? π€£
Anyways... Based on the devolution of the interaction, let's agree to not agree? Or whatever the issue is... ππΌββοΈ
Edit: What sort of prompts would be used to have written what I have written so far I wonderπ€ I've never tried Using Ai to write things for me, since it would take more time and effort to obtain a result when I can simply use my own knowledge and skills to write something faster. ππΌββοΈ
I did imply, rather strongly, that people would need to ascertain the context of the situation.
Is it actually my fault that readers jumped immediately in to make their own opinions known, before analyzing what has been written?
That said, I really should stop expecting people to have the same level of reading comprehension, nor the same level of background experiences and knowledge to draw upon. π€ So, for that, I am truly at fault. ππΌββοΈ
