In all honesty, why doesn't just kill them. Even just killing 1 is enough to send a message. These people are too stupid to think logically (religion does do that to the brain), therefore there's no reasoning with them

People die in the slums all the time. Plus, it's such a common trope for people to leave their enemies alive only for that to come bite them in the ass

These cliches are really boring. It's at times like these when I really miss MCs who are smart enough to kill their opponents without some drawn out explanation. Why did he just stand there and say "it's over"? Clearly it won't be over until the guy is dead.
