I call BS.
So Dario potentially gets in the way, doesn't contribute, and what, takes half the pay out? Thus all the longer before the kid can be left on her own with some safety.
A flower can transform into a human form but you are surprised a dragon, famous for being able to morp into human form in many versions of the mythology, can.
On a side note. divine punishment witch is going to shoot such a bomb at point blank range? I guess they'd simply use the ones they don't like very much and don't mind them getting caught in explosions.
If the sword just happened to resemble the legendary sword or was gotten by chance or something then Helmut wouldn't act like that. "That" being physically attacking rich noble kid and uttering a quasi death threat, not "flinching". That reaction says Helmut wants to keep it a secret AKA is the disciple of that master. There is no other conclusion to draw.
Because Helmut acted like that. Noble kid essentially knows what Helmut wanted to keep secret as noble kid is smart. That reaction by Helmut not literally a confession, as "confession" would imply intentional. But acts the same as one. If Helmut had said "Oh, I got that sword from my master", the noble kid would know no more than what the noble kid knows now thanks to Helmut's confession.
This basic logic can not be spelled out any more than this. Probably wasted my time typing this out.
P.S. Your insane ramblings are mildly humorous but not enough to really fully read.
"That reacting with instinctive alarm when confronted with sensitive information isn't "confession," it’s trauma-informed self-preservation."
I am saying anyone with half a brain will know they are on to something when Helmut reacts like that. If there was nothing to it, if the sword just happened to look like the famous sword, or it was the famous sword that they found on the market or something, then no one would react like that. Helmut is essentially confessing to the sword being that famous sword since the reaction informs the noble kid such and confesses that it's important to keep that quiet. So it's nearly a confession of Helmut having been a student of that famous master. The reaction telegraphs the information that Helmut wants to keep quiet. Your "self preservation" is harmful to self. As far as whether it makes sense for Helmut to basically confess and make a massive strategic mistake because 'too emotional', I won't get into except that it does not fit with the character shown so far.
"You overreacted with nearly the same intensity to a perceived threat"
I have not over-reacted. I have just discussed the topic,This absurd ad-hominem of yours is just too much. Comparing my discussing thoughts of part of a comic in a logical way to a character physically assaulting and giving quasi death threats, if this is as bad and dishonest of logic that I can expect from you, there is no reason to continue talking to you. Also your bad logic is no threat to me. Bye.
It's not even like Helmut was questioned about being associated with said martial master. It was just some information given to Helmut. The noble kid could have easily kept this information to esself.
Logic says to not behave like Helmut did.
There was no reason for Helmut to have such a strong emotional reaction either.
P.S. It is intellectually dishonest to call my opinion a "tangent" Sounds like a ad-hominem, using a word with a negative connotation like "tangent" to dishonestly dismiss my position.
FYI "tangent" is not even a correct term here. Tangent means "A sudden digression or change of course" If I were to go on a "tangent", that would mean I would be talking about something off topic. Since I am the original poster of this exchange where I mentioned this issue, in no way is "tangent" accurate as this is the original topic I started.
"Helmut has gotten a very clear warning about his mentors past history enough to be strongly encouraged not to display his mentor's swordsmanship or else Helmut could be killed by someone during the competition."
This is exactly why Helmut should NOT be behaving like this.
Instead Helmut should have responded nonchalantly like Helmut doesn't care. That would be the best denial possible. This overreaction instead is practically a confession.
Cutting off opponents limbs in these arena matches is just evil of Helmut to do, I explained enough.
