I don't know if I entirely understand what you said But I'm guessing Leo will break Skel out of this monster king shit. It seems Leo understands Skel has lost themselves, it helps that Leo got their own monster and got to experience first hand how that can subsume someones mind.

It might be that Leo will need to kill Skel to snap them totally out of it, maybe at Skels request as Skell is partially snapped out of it and struggles against the monsters that have taken over Skel. Then perhaps Lero will remember things between reset like the others have.

Lots of video games have "gods" in them. In this case the gods would just be more NPC. The admins who can rewrite characters out of existence, even the past, (which happened) obviously are far beyond beings that are just part of the programing, other characters in the virtual world.

But also know that in Japanese culture (and I know this is a Korean comic but they absorb each other cultural ideas sometimes) of everything having it's own spirit (Taoism) and these beings get power from human belief in them. If that belief is in being who protect and guide them, it's a "god", if that belief is fear, it's a monster/yokai. Either way more of it equals more power. It's a pretty well established trope and since this is eastern part of the world....

Basically saying that one of them (a yokai categorized as "god" because of the faith) will die without peoples faith to sustain them (since they intend to short sightly kill everyone but Skel has become a being that only thinks of hunger) so might as well eat that kami that will be starved of faith as well. The actual word is "kami" which doesn't exactly mean "god", just the closest English translation.

I get what you're saying but at the same time a good story will put some rules to the magic that people can understand. I don't feel like this was given enough rules considering its a blind person painting. At the same time it's barely even a side story so I suppose not much reason to invest too much into magic system.

It's been a year since I've read this chapter but I suppose I could invent something of my own explanation for my own imagination. Maybe different types of magic are in different colors of paint along with a guideline for what magic type is equal to what color or even magically envision the color. It would still require someone to have seen before to even understand what color is. It think that was the case here, but it's been a year... It certainly would be a highly specialized product then, only for blind people who use to see that are serious about painting and have lots of money.

I thought with the destruction of the 9 thing with how all the monsters on the field disintegrating, that there would be no more monsters.
