There is no justification. This is the worst kind of person to be around for your own sake. MC should and does want nothing more to do with Axel. And no being this kind of evil lunatic is not inevitiable

But maybe MC could send Axel off on dangerous missions to solve some issues, as long as there is no one around to harm. If Axel could agree to them never coming into contact again.

Weird how MC points to attacking the other people, which is valid, but the cold blooded murder of the priest was the biggest reason to reject em. Whatever you think of that priest, didn't betray them or mean harm and certainly didn't deserve to die.

That's BS. It didn't make much sense for MC's own purposes to let Axel go earlier. But there was nothing malicious or harmful to Axel in what MC did.

It doesn't make sense. Discard Axel when there was no reason to do so, only to turn around and trust Axel, at least enough to reveal identity, even after seeing the evil asshole murder someone in cold blood.

This still makes no sense, it's too stupid. Still a powerful person and loyal, why replace him? For that matter why does there need to only be one person to fight against the ending of the world. IMO the word for knowing the correct way to act on info and what info to concern yourself with etc. is "wise", MC is "wise"

If the person you are guarding is walking somewhere, follow them. Especially if it's in the middle of the night and they are unresponsive. It was pretty stupid. And no matter how strong it wouldn't have made much of a difference I think.
