I'm not sure if it's an issue with translation or the mangaka, but I am usually disappointed with how royalty and aristocrats are written in most manga.

The Holy Empire of Argon were introduced quite a while ago after the dragon hunt. So were holy knights and divine power.

I don't think it's about his disapproval. I think it's about if Jin can face the consequences of his actions. If he dies it means he wasn't strong enough, if he is caught it means he wasn't skilled enough, if he can survive and hide for the last year he needs then he will prove himself worthy and his decisions correct.

I thought she was wearing a headset at first too, but they are earrings.

I feel like this is common among manga and manhwa artists. I don't know how it is in the east, but kids seem to be maturing faster here in the states which doesn't help. smh

I usually dislike when they have armor be cut through, but they sword the MC is using is crazy massive. Adding superhuman abilities through mana and it seems believable.

Sunraku was theorizing. Nothing was confirmed yet.

From what I can see from the silhouette of the bow he is using on the 3rd page of chapter 141 it might be the same bow. But when he is standing over the last guy he killed it looks like he is holding a normal bow. Also, some of the adventures he killed were foaming at the mouth which is often used to indicate they died by poison.

I can't say I blame him. Having a demon in your noodle would drive most people crazy.

This manhwa is trying really hard to make me cry.

That wouldn't be any help to him. Imperial Japanese solders weren't issued 5.56 mm rounds.

The ship building company that was the reason for this investigation is a company own by the Daesuk group. This group owns multiple companies, each headed by their own presidents. And this old man Daesuk Choi is the chairman of the Daesuk group. It's kind of like how Microsoft owns Xbox, but Xbox has it's own CEO. Or how Coca cola owns multiple beverage companies and they each have their own CEO's.

I agree. This is him taking responsibility for what he had done that started that tragedy.

Pretty sure he never had those horns until after he got the helmet.

It's still disappointing, but it makes sense that you would have the characters of your country be central to the events of your story. I enjoying seeing heroes in stories from other countries. I just get a little tired seeing America trivialized, or made into villains.

This is hilarious. Does this author really think the US solves everything through bombardment? I guess they don't know our infantry are still trained to perform bayonet charges if necessary. But the author needed to nerf the US to keep the main characters strong.

At least this isn't portraying the US unilaterally as an enemy.

I always get a sense of whiplash when American allies portray us as devious underhanded power mongers. There are plenty of places I would expect this from, but it's surprising the theme is so common in Korea. I can even understand it coming from Japan, we were once enemies in WWII. But we have supported South Korea for decades, is there something I'm unaware of? Is the US interfering in their politics or economy? Are we holding them back? Because it seems like they have been flourishing with our cooperation.

This is a trend I've noticed in Korean manhwa. They seem to look down on righteousness, or at least look at it with suspicion. Many heroic figures turn out to be corrupt, frauds, or naive. While those that are more self sufficient and suspicious or cautious regarding the establishment and the "righteous" are the main characters. It's like how in Japanese manga religion or the divine are usually evil. I find it a little sad.
