i have a theory about that. if you dont read garbage you will only read greatness and you will start to get bored from the greatness, when you read good stuff you will be bored and hate that as it isnt as good as the great ones. so reading a healthy ammount of garbage gives you a distinct edge on what is good and what is great. i always recommend people to at least read a few chapters of garbage isekai or manhua's so they can recognize the god tier manga and manhwa.
