If you feel that way about pacing, then the pace is fine. The whole season is 90+ chapters all about the war, and we started getting info on it in s2. S3 will probably be more chapters than s1+s2 combined unless they end it soon. Imo I’d rather the war end in s3 then get a cliff hanger and a end of season 3.

Sure they’re greedy, the limited resources they have isn’t that much compared to the mountain of resources Zhou fan has. Zhou fan can also just make more pills. Other cultivation mangas it’s not odd for elders/venerables to have control over resources and give it to there disciples or use some for themselves. That only works for ppl with only a few disciples, some have way more disciples. Doesn’t mean they should give that venerable way more resources than the rest.

Difference in cultivation levels. Mc doesn’t have anyone working for him at the level of divine being and he’s fighting against divine beings. divine being > transcendent >top level guys

Everyone has a limit to there available resources. Those old guys have multiple disciples. There not being lured by some shinny, only the best in the inner sect and elites would get those items. People ranked way below you will surpass you. This was shown during the sect tournament, someone with lower cultivation winning.

Yh + other stuff. You have to join a guild unless you’re a super whale. Some smaller towns have allies, it’s the bigger towns that were the issue. they be relentless I got attacked b2b by 2+ towns. Sure you can use the 8/12 hour protection, they’ll be here to attack tomorrow 😭. Getting raided by more than one town that are allied hurts. + town position on map. If you do join a guild and your town is on the outside of the group area, you’ll usually be the first getting attacked 😭.

Naw I quit before getting that far, there’s always a bigger town trying to raid. 😭

I agree, I think the mc would still try to find a way to get him. The s rank hunter is trying to force him, and he had to settle for cutting off his arms instead of killing him. Arms can be re attached I think.
