I know that, doesn’t mean it’s not surprising that the author would give her such low stats compared to the mc and other people, and animals. She completed a class change which increases her stats, the mc picked the same upgrade, his stats spiked up, hers barely moved.

He picks his fights, avoids getting noticed by stronger people so he doesn’t die. That’s the mc learning from his past lives, his mistakes. He chose to stay safe and study how everything plays out, so ofc no struggles are happening right now. He wouldn’t be hiding for over a year while half his squad is in a war if he was fearless. He picked the safest route to level up and earn money, also a slow route. That’s because he’s scared of dieing and being on his last life again. + the system hasn’t fucked him over in a while. We know he’s eventually going back, upto you if you think this training arc is to stale to keep reading, s2 is basically over.

Who has he beaten to be a powerhouse op mc? He reached this level, couldn’t beat a monk without ais help and still died. He left for the central plains, trained for over a year, fighting people way weaker than him with a handicap. Him abusing op abilities earlier on wasn’t generic? He was freezing/slowing down time to kill people stronger than him. Or do you mean before he had any weapons and skills? He was on his last life before leaving for the central plains.

I agree the chapter is lacking, it’s not that bad. The added quarrels and fights took up most of the chapter, that’s why it feels that way. This isn’t something new the author randomly started doing, it’s there style. Ex, similar part happened during the tournament where mc disciplined the guy for betting money on the fights. He was crying about how he lost all of his money. Dumpling guy quickly lost the fight so that took a good amount of the chapter. Just read it bi weekly or monthly. I plan on letting a few chapters get added before I read again.

It gets updated every 1-2 weeks. Sometimes releases multiple chapters. I just averaged it out. If 4 or more chapters are released in a month, and you read 1 chapter every week, it would take a while for you to be fully caught up. Unless the season ends.

Do you even know how his ability works? Ignoring him being unable to move earlier from taking to mic dmg and getting poisoned, + not fully healed and taking way more dmg. we don’t even know the poisons side effects yet. Don’t you have to look at his eyes? unless they completely skip that part, everyone is not going to just stare at your eyes.

Imo this is how most stories would go, no op abilities, using only martial arts, no magic, or ki, barely ever using poison. it’s more realistic a small group fighting against the whole murim alliance. I also thought they’d be in a better spot by now. Imo They’ve done pretty well imo, just not ready to start a war with the murim alliance. Beggar sect & murim alliance is just way stronger than I thought. Murim alliance have all assassins sect in there palms. Moment one gets to strong they force them to follow there rules or get wiped out. Mc had to fight the murim alliance, beggar sect, and a assassins sect. I only feel bad about sogo. Maybe in 50-100 chapters we’ll see them in a better spot.
