He’s your typical overpowered mc does insane dmg has almost no abilities or skills & doesn’t take much damage almost all enemy skill + abilities do little to no damage for majority of the story. Mc isn’t the smart calculative type. Early on many ppl were against even reading garhans backstory, saw comments say he didn’t deserve one. You can view all of the heros like that, even barhart(sword king) left his village to become the strongest? there all more interesting than the mc. Mc started off op, most of the others grew and developed into there character. Grow and develop is usually way better for the story. I would’ve liked to see the mc actually break free from orphalems curse and learn actual skills + level up slightly more normally. The red dragon studied the crystal, and freed all the dragons from the curse, this is the same cursed system constraining the mc. And we would get to see the skills he got from the dieing mage, + all of the level restrictions.

MC already built up a constitution for both of those martial arts. From practicing Ice arts on his own & having poison resistance. 4 months + no sleep + his goal is transcendent demon to beat the other player. Mc hasn’t ever lost sight of the goal post. + all of those books in gon mas library he memorized. Would be a huuuge let down if he couldn’t learn a martial art in the time it would take him to become a ultimate demon from training on his own. He become absolute demon through more than 1 route. I get what you mean, AI played a huge part early on. I don’t see mcs understanding reaching this far this fast without chasing after the standards that ai put in him. And him trying to surpass ai. he has gained a mountain of exp and knowledge + it’s always been exceed this or you will die. Death is a effective motivational resource.

Manwha really changed it’s crazy. They really massively reduced the stakes and made it a normal martial arts. I had to really think… what’s missing… the forced system responses to questions. We barely saw 1 compared to the other route around this stage. Where he received many forced message boxes with crazy bold words.
