Artist has a knack for illustration but can't seem to stop ripping off other works. His other series Cambria is an obvious knock off of HxH and Toriko and this manga is literally just Chainsaw Man and Tokyo Ghoul mashed together.

No disrespect but this series is just your typical murim manwha where literally anything is possible through magical martial arts with little to no explanation. I mean, why does the 2000 year old guy who has only been in their current time period for a couple of days know what an IQ test is in just this chapter alone... It's a fun read if you can turn your brain off, but it's not anything to write home about.

Dedication to his mother's dying words even though it goes against his powers, fights for the weak, character is believable as an actual person and not just one of the 10 personality tropes applied to most mangas, actually reflects the time period with his personality and thoughts instead of acting like a modern person dropped in the Sengoku period.

He's got a lot more redeeming qualities than you're displaying with your shitty attitude.

I've been saying the same thing. The art is actually quite good, but the action scenes have close to zero fluidity to them with the artist displaying massive pages of vfx vomit and multitudes of panels of just hands or faces. The story is pretty good and I actually really enjoy the art style. The action scenes have gotten a little better but not much.

Stay strong though, sadly this is a manga website and I've noticed even if you like every other aspect of the manga/manhwa/donhua if you criticize one thing you will be downvoted into oblivion. So be prepared for the downvotes.
