as far as similar powered MC in manga or anime that i've already seen, many of them just don't talk about it, or do something like MC's mental fortitude is so strong that even tortured by dying is not even a thing for MC and most of them are isekai so more or less they should expected it

but for this manga they was "normal" people so yeah if they are not effected by it at least once then i would saiy that's weird
