Damn, I wanted to comment about the chapter but the translator's note is just sad. Seriously, who are the idiots that complained? I'm not seeing anything wrong with the work in general, the pages are clean, fonts are easy to read and the translation is good. There are way, way, way, worse translations out there, enough to give you strokes, and this definitely isn't one of them.
On that last note, i have no issue with reading the translation, its simply stupid to whine about it (if you can do it better go ahead right), i hope yall keep translating because i love this manga and the translation made it so.
AGHHGHHP I would say this chapter is my favorite, but every chapter is my favorite. And it gives just enough development each chapter that it never feels small (I also know the TL note isn't meant for this website specifically, BUT RESPECT THE DAMN TRANSLATORS AND THE WHOLE TEAM WTF LITERALLY NONE OF US HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT FREE SHIT. get it together. Man there is a mismatch between Japanese morals and Western ones. These dudes have essentially been date raped, and are being treated like revenge targets instead of people in need of saving.
Actually, from the spoilers I read the love potions only made them treat Pina more favorably. It doesn't control their actions/emotions towards other people or prevent them from acting as usual, so everything they did to Emi was of their own accord and makes them valid revenge targets. Plus Pina hasn't had access to the love potions in a long time now and lost a lot of her support because she couldn't reapply it and had to talk to people as "herself", which means they honestly would/should have snapped out of it past this point

From comments I read from people who have read the novel, the items won't work unless the target has resentment already in their hearts. If they had been true and loyal to Remilia, the potions would have been useless but since they weren't the potions only brought out their true hidden nastiness.
