Honestly would love the ending more if the characters never even meet again yet the memories will keep them move on in life. To be fair the last 3 arcs are really weird and i really dont understand what they trying to do. Still it have it moments and the early arcs still very fun series.

Ehhh, not gonna say better. It still annoying because the manga trying to be the new route of a game that the reader should be familiar with, while at least before time skip the MC is actively changing stuff, but after timeskip we just dealing we butterfly effect so we should ge pretending we shocked when things happened wasn't like the original game( why the fuck would we care). It just annoying because the MC did not try to do anything and thing keep happening because he just cant communicate stuff properly. But at least this arc bringing back Etica and her brother is interesting enough if you have some investment to their relationship. Aside from that gonna say not really reccomended to just go back yet.
