I mean the anime taking a lot of direction as in framing, compostition, character design and pacing from the manga. As much as the story still very goated on its own, i like this manga more than the other kusuriya manga more, and that is why the anime also using this version of manga for refference more than the other one.

Like i do love the anime take on this arc, but yea, it does missing a lot of whimsyness, especially with the last dance if you compared to the sleepwalking lady dance and Mao mao dance. Its still very beautiful, but compared to the one that have manga refference its not whimsy enough if you get my point.

With the anime surpassing the manga, i wonder if the direction will be as good, cus so far the part where they already ahead of is not as whimsy as the manga.
