Honestly I could argue half swording would be appropriate here. You are correct that a lot of half swording is used when fighting full armored knights. But another common usage of Half swording is when you are using a larger sword and your opponent has moved in very close to engage. It allows you to wield a larger weapon in a limited space.

Gotta love this way of doing action. Far too many Manwha artists just draw a bunch of chaotic lines with swoosh swoosh written over them and then the after effects of the MC standing victorious with a massive sword Technique Name emblazoned behind him in dramatic font “Rising Tiger Blade First Form!” . Here the artist draws out the motion like a fighting manuscript and guides the reader’s eyes so we can actually follow the movement. True skill of an artist!

Nice it is here! The story is pretty generic but the way this artist is able to draw action and fight choreography is something else.
