After some research; Catching a cold just means you were exposed to germs that made you sick. Doesn’t require a certain level of exposure to the cold.

That being said, the cold does decrease your immune systems ability to combat the germs! Another more likely reason for our Moondae getting sick is likely stress! Stress can ALSO decrease your immune systems ability to fend off those bad germs! And I’d be pretty stressed dealing with that passive aggressive sneaky man alone in a cabin :P

I’m guessing they only view it as weak because they struggle to learn it because of this unpleasant feeling so they put their time into physically getting stronger thinking it’s quicker and stronger.

The unpleasant feeling MC gets when he casts magic could be what artificially restricts them from learning it. Creates a system where it feels like you aren’t learning magic well, which leads to you deciding you must be more talented at the martial arts, meaning people just stopped trying to learn magic.

Could lead to a system where only those with knowledge and funds are able to learn it. Leading to a group of “Higher Class Nobles” deciding they’re better than the masses because they know magic.

The king is apparently the only wise one, so I’m expecting a situation where there’s a noble cabal running things leaving the king as more of a figurehead than anything else. This manga is peak

I also think it’d be crazy to give him 100 lives after just stating he doesn’t copy all their abilities perfectly. My guess is that the whole “He’s a shell of who he once was, had his personality eaten up” thing has given him one additional life.
