So... Daigiren was operating like the Orokin in Warframe? No wonder why they were hated.

I get your point. I just want to look at the positives to not get upset at something that might be a temporary problem.

He was excited about the modern world. Is he unaware physical distance is no longer a big issue?

Yeah. They're extremely annoying and obviously inbred.

Bon always being the one to fix things. Seriously. Is there no moment where he won't shine? Well. It's better if he keeps shining.

Separation anxiety. He's learning from it. He didn't have to before. Because he was always there and he was the one leaving people behind.

Yeah. Rudo shouldn't listen to him. I mean. It is an important goal and all, but an "I don't care. I have my way to figure it out" followed by just smashing the guy into oblivion is the smartest path.

Fushi doesn't understand because he's naive, and is not yet aware of people having different goals. The last time he tried to understand that he actually got depressed. It's a matter of time. Not to mention there's something interesting over how people reacted to Gugu's deformities. They say it's normal, probably because even if he was disfigured, it's not that severe and it became socially normal, but back in his time period it could have been severe.

Fushi is learning to be really human and people in the comments don't get it.

Maybe this time the superstition was about the outside, and not the inside. Thus they wanted to keep something away from the child.

So. He's hiding his usefulness? Or is there some limitation?

Well. We knew Fushi wasn't going to just suddenly learn how to use a computer.

The moral complexities of this whole thing are clearly lost on plenty of readers in the comments. But let's put it this way. As I said in a previous comment, the current knockers are just sycophants to the most delusional individual of their once perfectly united hivemind.
Also Mimori's unit was an obviously more deviant specimen.

Fushi's immortals were companions who stood by his side, even when they disagreed with him. The knockers became the sycophants of a delusional obsessive stalker. That's a massive difference on how each side understands love.

I've heard of obsessive stalkers. But transcending time, and even death, to continue staling the same guy who very directly told you to fuck off for at least five consecutive generations is a bit too much.
