I'm reading Hajime no Ippo, on chapter 1120!
I only read 1 manga at a time, not counting manga I'm ready weekly/monthly. So a fujimoto taste once a week is refreshing.
I've fallen into the trap of trying to be "normal". Pretending to like things I didn't just to "fit in". Until I stopped doing all that shit because It wasn't me. Surprise surprise I got much happier when I started acting like myself. Of course, back then, being an anime fan was pretty looked down upon. There was no end to people saying it either: "All anime is for kids" or "All anime is hentai". They'd yo-yo between those two very conflicting statements, but I really didn't care. I didn't care that I was bullied by most people, because the small amount of people that I did relate to accepted me and that was enough. Though towards the end of my School days anime began getting more and more accepted, so it was just a thing instead of a bad thing. But I stuck to my guns (wait, I'm not american, Not that way...) and didn't care about the haters. Though I should express that I only ever talked about anime and manga when it came up in conversation or with my then few weeb friends. Because I know how obnoxious it is to spout nothing but anime stuff or just anything that's a single thing whether it be football or breaking bad or anything, just talking about it constantly is obnoxious. I did like other things, but just you aren't afraid to like something doesn't mean you should shove it down people's throats. Find commonality if you can, but you shouldn't forsake what you like because of that and shouldn't be forced to like things you don't care for.
I still don't care as an adult all these years later. Because who gives a shit? I like what I like, deal with it. It ain't hurting nobody.
Nonetheless, the 4 horsewomen will be a big factor in the upcoming end of the word.
I'm curious to know why. Not that I'm dissing your opinion and feelings or anything, I can totally get why some people don't like the slower pace and character studies and mystery section of this part so far, but is there any particular reasons? I'd like to hear your thoughts if you don't mind.

I know something big is coming, I can't wait to see what Fujimoto is cooking. Nayuta and Denji's relationship is so damn wholesome!
I really, really don't care if people like or dislike Boruto, the only opinion I care about is my own. If people don't like my opinion, that's fine. It's wrong for them to care about my opinion, because opinions are literally subjective, even if things are ultimately objective facts, you can still have a subjective opinion that goes against the objective facts. Such as liking a Video game that is factually awful, but you still find enjoyment from it. I like stuff people don't like too, I'm just rightly criticising a product. I don't see why people need to downvote me lol. But some people are too immature or blinded by fanboyism to be able to take criticism on something they like. Heck, I'm an MASSIVE Dragon Ball fan, it's literally my most favourite thing in the world. Yet DB fans are dunked on so often, but I don't mind because It really doesn't matter. I like this, you don't like this, that's the end of it.

Toxicity is garbage, because it causes nothing but stress and accentuates the circle jerking of the people/community defending something without being able to take constructive criticism because of their own bias, as well as being wrongfully attacked by the haters. So everyone is in the wrong. Ultimately, it doesn't matter. Which is why I'm not toxic, there's no point. Let sleeping dogs lie.

Also, this piece of shit really never calls Chizuru by her real name, Ichinose he just uses the rentagf name Mizuhara, even in his thoughts. What a single minded creep.
still better than Kazuya tho...
What a ride.
The purple would also be representative of Piccolo's Gi for Gohan too.
Something something about visual storytelling.
Because I like something and you don't like it, that makes you a prick, hurr de hurr.
The action is awful and uninteresting, The mangaka who's name I forgot still doesn't understand what thick lines are, a stupidly slow and uneventful story with unnatural developments, and of course to top it all off, nerfing old Naruto characters even more again.
I forget this manga exists every month until I see an update. I'm a big Naruto fan, but Boruto, is just a major disappointment.
I'm glad Gohan Beast is canon in both mediums now, but I still utterly despise that his hair is white. It takes away from what Toriyama himself said, about white hair being the symbol of divinity and ultimate power, hence the Angels and Goku MUI. Gohan's Beast form should've been Black like his ultimate form or at least purple or better yet, orange to keep in line with his Master, Piccollo. It's just Super Saiyan 2 MUI with Red pupils. It looks awesome IMO, but it's super dumb, literally. Yet another thing Super does stupidly.
I'm a huge DB fan btw lol.
Also, if you need more guides, lemme know! If you can't read the pastebin link I sent above, let me know just in case and I'll write it here instead, sometimes links can be broken.
Just goes to show Horikoshi is in it for the money only. "Hype" first, to keep people coming, everything else later, even if it doesn't make sense.
But the structure is still garbage. Someone really needs to piece together all the chapters in an actual coherent manner once this arc is done. There's too much going back and forth and picking up and dropping plot points like it's a tennis match and the manga is the damn ball.
Probably the best chapter we've had this year. Can't believe this arc has been going on for almost 2 years now.
So why does My hero academia get to have the exact same setting of worldwide warfare using kids as weapons, yet have absolutely no consequences? Why does My hero academia's current arc get to be light and happy when it's so similar to Naruto? Easy, because shit writing. Horikoshi can't fucking commit to his setting, even though it really should be dark, but that narrative dissonance is preventing it because he doesn't want to make it dark. It's like going to a Nazi party and seeing My little pony everywhere and black dudes in KKK robes. It makes no fucking sense. You can't take an extremely dark setting like a world war with the heroes of the people being hated by the general public and the last bastion of the few remaining heroes are fighting for the world's safety against murderers, assassins, and kidnappers and all sorts of disgusting people with death and despair everywhere and using literal kids, going against much more experienced adults without trying to kill these obviously dangerous fools that they know can't go to prison because all the prisons are fucked and they'd break out anyway AGAIN and doing all this and trying to make a light story out of it?!?!?
I do pay attention, I wouldn't be this fucking annoyed or waste time writing this shit if I didn't care. I want it to commit to it's dark themes just like it did in the Batman Deku arc, my favourite arc in MHA, there's no reason it can't commit to them again in this arc which the world is way, WAY worse off.
And this manga is cute and adorable, the sex scenes are far apart. It's just the specials that have them all the time, and I'd prefer to see more wholesome moments in the specials rather than everything ending in them fucking which skews my view on their relationship from a pure and wholesome one with a kid to them just being fuck buddies.
Read this, don't skip over it. Pay attention.
Alright, I'll take the bait.
My hero academia is a story that has narrative dissonance. I'm going to compare it to Naruto to disassemble your limited, naive viewpoint on Kids battle series. Naruto is a story for kids (Shonen), yet guess what happens in that world? Kids as young as 8 years old are literally trained to become murderers and assassins, Ninjas are only ever seen as weapons, not humans. This is the same mantra used by even the "good guys" like the leaf village. Ninja, even kid ninja, are seen as disposable and are expected to die for their missions and kill themselves if they are captured by the enemy. The test for kids to become a pro ninja has them literally killing each other, and we see this. Hell, Naruto almost kills someone just because they asked to be killed. Itachi puts Kakashi in an illusion that has him being tortured for 72 hours straight, unable to pass out and feeling the pain as if it were real. Assassins were sent by the father of Gaara to kill the very young Gaara just because he was a tailed beast wielder. Later on the manga, one of our kids literally buried an immortal person's head in a giant hole to get rid of them, as they suffer even now wishing to die but being unable to. A kid did this. Because the world shaped him into what he would become, because this world is one full of war. Naruto's village was wiped off the face of the earth because of an organisation called the Akatsuki wanting to dominate the world (sound familiar? It's just like AFO.)
Pretty heavy stuff for a "kids" manga, right?
