The beginning of MHA makes it sound all so magical with the birth of the glowing baby and how the population soon acquired all sorts of quirks that led to this comic-like world of superheroes vs supervillains with our young Midoriya dreaming big of becoming a force of good himself. Then this chapter just started with a prostitute dying from giving birth with the baby cannibalising his own mom and almost got eaten by rats. Geez, imagine if this was the first actual chapter of MHA.
Alright, just go an address all my problems about this manga not being dark eh... But the structure is still garbage. Someone really needs to piece together all the chapters in an actual coherent manner once this arc is done. There's too much going back and forth and picking up and dropping plot points like it's a tennis match and the manga is the damn ball. Probably the best chapter we've had this year. Can't believe this arc has been going on for almost 2 years now.
yeah it might be why the length hasn't bothered me as much as some people cause a lot of big or final arcs of other shounen go in way longer, like war in Naruto was like four years

Screw the anime, It's unfair to do this shit. Some people only read manga, that's no excuse to bastardise the product because a revision is happening to a completely different audience years later. Just goes to show Horikoshi is in it for the money only. "Hype" first, to keep people coming, everything else later, even if it doesn't make sense.
chill man its not like its on purpose sometimes the author gets a good idea and wants to do it its either he do it immediately or risk doing it after the series or arc plus the pacing is not that bad if you follow other stories
The environment All For One grew up in did not make him what he is, it just reinforced what he is. From the moment he was born, All For One has been nothing but a souless monster and it's time he is finally put down.
It makes me sad for the mother... She didn't deserve to live as a homeless prostitute destined for a pathetic death and nobody would remember her... Truly sad.
Typical but way better then this authors attempt at making us sympathize with villain. I swear to God that togas story arc made want to drop really bad the whole manga forever

He also... not sure if this is in the manga yet so spoiler: He is given a skill by the gods that makes him immune to aggressive attacks (so if any monster attacks him, or he sets off a dungeon's trap) Coupled with the fact that at certain levels he unlocks new shops, there is a real incentive for him to fight and get stronger but he is still a massive coward.
Tim This girl reminds me of Yuucha to Maou; small hero tasked to defeat the demon lord, who doesn't intend to hurt her at all.
When the priestess first started out I figured she would find the actual demon lord, though they could be the princess and she is faking her status screen with a skill, also explains why it acted odd.

Not like gunpowder explosion but I think you understand what I'm saying, plus they did mention formation spells, so plus with that it probably had an even more devastating breakdown and sent shrapnel flying everywhere
