Yeah, the backstory was due in part to explain to us how he’s still alive when mc took his core. Unfortunately his head has been cut off lol. No core can bring that back. His second core, story wise, has already served its purpose.

If we use the way the peak realm works in regressors tale of cultivation, then the mc now has a new sense of spatial awareness allowing him to see enemies lines of attack and his optimal line of attack or attacks. If he sees a high level enough enemy like a cultivator or martial artist at five flowers return to origin realm all he sees is red or basically a warning from his sense saying no defense or offense will work, that’s basically what Jeong saw here.

Reached ultimate peak with nothing but raw external energy and a powerful mind. Think about it though he’s mostly ultimate peak due to his amount of qi/middle dantian opening and his shamanic powers which help him close the gap. I wonder how a fight with him and another ultimate peak would go.

There are loads of Murim stories where mcs gain similar musculature after couple months of training. Right off the top of my head absolute sword sense comes to mind. Have you read that? He also only trained for about a half year or so and he got some good gains.

Gaining muscle and strength quickly in Murim isnt strange, they increase their physical stats with their qi and cultivating it makes it stronger so it makes sense they can build muscle quicker. They are essentially training themselves to get superpowers

To take out the remaining monsters. Mc jinha and others like them can pretty much solo anyone else they come across that’s not like them.
