Been awhile since I saw the MC look genuinely pissed off, he certainly wasn't wrong about the cult leaders incompetence, at least in terms of emotional control. Having someone who understands and accepts you in spite of such failings is a blessing though, and while it might not make logical sense to abandon his position to go with him, I do think there is a freedom to be found in it. I honestly don't see the cult leader having the strength to take that option though, but maybe he'll surprise us.

I know it's probably cope, but there's no logical reason for Reze not to return, at least knowing she's not actually dead. Since Denji has been going on about wanting a lot of girls in more recent chapters, and he and Pochi's whole goal is to fulfill his dreams, maybe he will unironically aim for a harem with Asa and Reze. Hell, maybe the new Power will be part of it lol. I wouldn't put it past Fuji-sensei to go down that debauched sorta route and make it just as messy and fucked up as it can be lol.
