It's quite the stereotype, and during teenage years emotions make people act too much, or overthink too much.

So, this is now the arc to understand how the male protagonist ended up where he is now.
Since the how the female protagonist got here was already settled.

I honestly feel that the art is a bit over the place at times... too "busy".

But DAMN, it does its job SO WELL. I can feel the emotions so fresh I almost teared up, feeling the frustration exploding, to then the sudden rush of emotions by quasi-confessing to each other (and both missing the mark).

I think it was a way to show why he is a bit of a downer starting it all, and why he didn't think of making plans at the start of the chapter.

Curious as to how the "fiancee" outside the tribe might work in this new set up but, whatever happens, see our protagonist grow is just great !!!!

This manga has a lot of good messages.

That one last punch was seriously satisfaying.

The manga is well paced enough that, despite we knowing what's to come, it's still fun to read.

I have the feeling this guy had a family, maybe the house was from his wife's family, or fiance, and things went south... Maybe she was an adventurer as well, or something about his job made her leave for family reasons.

I was expecting this kinda development for the longest time!!

So, romcom like these usually need a moment in the story where there is a push.

But, this is the first manga to make a push this strong and I am just dying xDDDD

Most other romcoms just add a rival and then keep the status quo, but this is just freaking amazing xDDDD
