Chapters like this make me realize that all of this power/lore breakdown is absolutely worthless, and that the girls haven't committed to any major action of any sort in over 20 chapters.

This is what I find so objectionable about fantasy-style manga w/OP main characters. Grinding on and off panel is not a substitute for plot and character development.
