Unfortunately, nobody will excommunicate her from the tower as long as she has talent. Plus, her motives aligned to the Tower Master's intentions despite her malice - to break themselves as a faction on their own outside Keyzen and no longer controlled or supressed by them.

PS: Even best girl here called her the Tower's LAPDOG, that says enough.

I enjoy debates as long as there is logic and sense on the table, supported with basis and evidence. One of the past debates I enjoyed like this was "whether Goto in Higehiro is a b*tch or not".

1st paragraph - That's why there were two specific points in my comments up to now: BRUTE FORCE (magical combat, which is magic application to the physical self) and DIRECT SPELLS (spells fired out from thin air, like elements and curses). Summonology outside the two categories, but more specified - magic application to animate inorganic objects (without animation will be Enhancement, while organic will be Hematology).

2nd paragraph - True, Summonology takes longer to cast due to the material (corpse) assembly. It'll greatly reduce casting time if assembly was allowed beforehand. Now I think about it, the MC tend to have this trouble because of the two points I mentioned above which is typically how Keyzen students duel. He didn't have assembly issues, just the matter of having a suitable combating summon that's at least on par - such as the mud golem that's immune to most elements and can physically dominate his opponents.

4th paragraph - Spells are required to animate a summoned being regardless. Intent will affect how they act. The rest was discussed above. Looks like we had most arguments in concensus now.

Martial Peak is just an eternal cycle at this point, but this has progress.

1st paragraph - What you said only further my argument, its not even based on the spell's potency, but more like quality of the summoning object / being, added on top of its casting time. If that's the case, brute forcing (magical combat) seems more straightforward, versatile, viable with less cost and thoughts.

2nd paragraph - That's why its impractical in interpersonal combat, no fool will wait for you to finish the summoning cast. Take the MC's first interpersonal battle for example when he had to face a Katarology major student - had the MC not been able to block or dodge the attacks and curses until then, the result would have been completely different.

3rd paragraph - I give you this one, majoring in one subject doesn't mean you cannot learn or master other subjects, it only means which subject you intend to focus and bases your future path on it. In fact, I have commented this before.

4th paragraph - Your first line here confused me. But I get your next sentence, both our third paragraph points to this, mastering one subject doesn't mean you can ignore the others. But this is quite impractical because it exhausts your fundamentals, knowledge and not to mention mana.

Use your first paragraph for example, but instead of using any high quality skeleton, its a normal undead: To have a normal undead to be able to fight on par with any Keyzen student (elites of their own with magic specialty), you'll need three subjects for this battle - Summonology to animate and move the corpse, Enchancement to strengthen the frame and material fo the corpse (definitely needed as Keyzen students aren't any typical mob), and Katarology to apply curse on the zombie's attacks when needed (applying curse on the split second any attack hits). See what I mean here? I NEVER said its useless, just impractical as things stand - you'll either need at least an adept level of the three subjects mentioned (studies), have a huge bank reserve of mana (talent), or high quality materials (cost). Currently our MC only has the second (talent), working of the first and third (studies and cost).

First paragraph - That's why I said its IMPRACTICAL in interpersonal battles, NOT USELESS.

Second paragraph - Yes, all spells are instantaneously activated, but it TAKES LONGER TO CAST SUMMONING SPELLS, that's the critical difference. If you don't get this point here, then I'll need to page back to the summoning professor's chapters to you, plus an extra lesson on basic physics.

Third paragrah - Wrong, magical combat is a SUBJECT - refers to applying dark magic to enhance physcial capabilities. Yes, a summoner can use reinforcement (Enhancement Magic - also another subject) on their summoned beings an objects, but its far more impractical than just enchance a simple weapon and swing it on your own. An alternative comparison of this case is like cutting down a bamboo using a sword by magic and without it - why bother wasting mana when you can just brute force it?

Fourth paragraph - Arugument of second and third paragraph combined.

The funny thing was, I can literally see a half from each of MC's parents in him - evident from his actions and thoughts before this.

Disillusioned. That's all. After all, remember how the MC's life was before his girlfriend came in?

True. There are black and white lies IRL. You have to understand the consequences of telling one, as well as knowing its scale and severity.

No. You forgot that the MC intended to reject the confession at first, only accepting it to preserve his social standing in school. He's already mentally prepared to be separated after the month is complete (punishment game), but no, he won't take advantage over her just because he had the advantage of going out with her. That's basic respect he gave her as a girl, the only advantage he utilized during the period is going out with her as a couple, that's it.

Yes, Bone Prison can entrap opponents, but its pointless even if your foe is a melee fighter - didn't read about magical combat? Same goes for bone armor - why do you need physical object for offense or defense if your raw magic or strength (magical combat) is more than enough to smash it into smithereens?

"Summoning is as instantaneous as curses if not faster as a skeleton is often pulled together by the law of attraction after first time summon." Didn't you pay attention? Casting a summoning spell takes LONGER than direct spells.

"The major fault of summoning is the point in study which it's used to do damage." Another point here that you didn't pay attention. Remember why necromancers were the strongest asset in a WARFARE but not interpersonal battles.

Yes, the maid continuously did that, because its PART OF THE JOB. The role she took during that moment, added with her "preferential treatment", on top of his turmoil after the breakup, all three of these breaking points aligned perfectly for his mental breakdown. Any one missing and it surely wouldn't have happened. That's why its timing.

Note, he mentioned "from the parallel world's perspective".

He is nothing more than a pitiful lackey wanting to get power just by latching on to others. A PARASITE.

He took the effort to re-iterate his works, that alone makes the confusion forgivable. I too think everything so far is pretty fine, all we need is just to reread the past chapters, had good memory or paid good attention to it, then everything is fine. We are reading a story that centers around the MC's mission after all.

Mind telling me where's the broken logic?

Like InfinityCraze said, they are indeed stronger than them currently. They are, in fact, on the way here.
