Exactly, especially when his master can already beat ALL THE ELDERS ALTOGETHER IN JUST FIVE MOVES, he himself is surely not that far from that either in terms of MARTIAL ARTS ALONE.

And this was already actually explained. Corin almost made it to the final boss in his previous run (but he did not make it there because IYKYK what happened in the first two chapters). And he owned that weapon before his regression. Additionally, Dune Skias (of the current timeline) just only heard, then later owned this weapon, AFTER Corin (that which he didn't know).

Me: Its both. And its so peak. Martial Peak should have learned a lesson or two about this before going beyond thousands of chapters.

Both of them are demons not by free will, but by circumstances, unlike Shit Dog.

Old fool got befooled by Master Gu's "normal" cultivation, now be baffled by his REAL POWER.

He's resistant, but not immune. Remember, he's from a necromancer father and a saintess mother.

Exactly. As neutral as a doctor can be.

To be fair, that's the queen that instantly spark the lust of her knights with just a small touch of demonic energy.

Remember, this was the time just before the MC became the LAST SURVIVOR in his world. And even till then, his world isn't saved, and he was driven into isolation and madness. The only mercy he had left were the gods who had faith in him, and his sanity intact.

Because the murim alliance is the biggest faction in the middle floors, even if it was governed by NPCs (aka Tower Residents, aka foreign beings). Imagine the difficulty of that region suddenly shoot up to the final boss level, would anyone continue climbing the tower by then?

Remember what happens when a tower level is left unconquered for too long... an outbreak will happen.

Especially after he talked shit of the rundown restaurant they just entered even before tasting the food. Only shallow people take priority of the restaurant's appearances.

The funnier part was MC told him to shut up as if he know he's going to say something stupid again - and he foresaw that!

Remember, his future before the MC's regression was the left hand of an orthodox unified sect who gave the MC pissless, shitless and sleepless nights. He definitely deserved every MC's throw of disrespect against him. Now that he even talked shit about the restaurant they're visiting before even tasting the food, he totally asked for even the Sword Demon's ounce of disrespect.

The Sword Demon's "shut up" hit hardest. If you don't know any better restaurants, then don't speak ill of the one you're currently visitng.

And what's worse was that he's wielding one of the 4 legendary weapons on top of being one of the worst demon generals. He was way beyond blessed by the plot armor than the MC.

But here's the thing, he's a side character, there is no plot armor for him.

For those who don't know: Biyu is a direct lingual of the Chinese word 比喻, which means METAPHOR, as the translator has written note. It has two meanings:
1. A figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
2. A representative or symbol of something else.

Its a great foreshadow that Biyu will be a symbol of things to come but have no direct nor derelict influence to it.

That's the thing. None of the people from murim came or were raised from ordinary means, so its unusually profound when they realize its actually something so simple an ordinary person can comprehend and was part of their daily lives. Take the doctor for example, he's responsible for every patient who comes to his door, but he can't do much beyond that very door; While for martial artists, they trained to fight and live to NOT wind up being in a clinic in the end. The moment they entered his door is akin to accepting their own fatality and weakness, which not many are willing to do so.

Spare me, its hard to give him attention when there are buddies with greater development than him.

There is a saying in Buddism and in countless cultivation / murim related stories: You cannot reach nirvana (in Chinese there are various translations to this word, in this case would be the peak and pinnacle of something) if you cannot let go of your inner demons.
