Yes. Remember that the shaman witch called Geovrick a HALF Grail Knight? That's because he has gone through this loop too many times to count to the point he has started losing faith. If it weren't for the MC's arrival, he would have fallen down to the path of pure bloodshed, not of devotion, but of the simple brutality of it.

But to think that those markings corrupt the soul... then the knights' skinning was just lukewarm price to pay for their souls to be saved.

I was right. He will be killed by the story he loved most, which is this world - when it ends.

You're correct. But its not exactly about wanting them to focus on one thing, its more like they want him as their "object". Remember that it was shown in a past chapter, where if a disciple under that professor's major gets achievements or credits in the future, the professors benefit as well - to the point that even elected or promoted as the headmaster of the academy is not an impossible request.

What I'm trying to point out was the quality difference of the army they brought, one who lived their lives in constant pursuit for power, while the other just for the sake of conflict.

Yes, and that is where the humans are severly lacking of awareness of. Not to mention that there are humans who are in greed of power (the POTUS in this story) are actually serving the demons for unpromised power and control.

Remember that his sect was originally perished in their world, so naturally he can bring them back. The bad thing for the enemy is... the Heavenly Demon faction is a group of martial fanatics that lived by the fist (those who only respect power and lived their lives in pursuit of it), unlike the constellation's which army which was simply made for war (no actual guideline for strength, hence their prime is only their strongest or most youthful days in servitude).

Yes, as much as they (the Heavenly Demon faction) respect the need to wear white for weddings, you have to respect theirs as well for wearing black for combat.

But if one is good at paying attention, you will know something is amiss amidst as the story moves.

I knew those shamanic runes cannot be trusted, as those are not skills, unlike the MC's aura.

Indeed. Just as there are seven sins, you'd never know which sin came to you. Such as I leaving a comment like this - am I involved with Pride (in proving my point) or am I involved with Greed (or wanting attention)? We'd never know.

There is a phrase - To hide a tree, use a forest. The simpler it looks, the easier to oversee it.

Well, we humans always tend to want what we can't have. Though once we had it, we went to pursue something else.

True. But we all know the reason why he chose summonology since the beginning, and that's not going to change. He's an MC who's honest to his heart.

Well, it was said at the start that if the professors nurtured great disciples, they get not only part of the rich and wealth, but also greater status, honor and ranking in the school. You can say greed is always at work, just as pride is.
