Personally I'm fine with harem, long as it's in moderation and all the girls are actually interesting. Not saying these girls aren't interesting, but I genuinely can't bring myself to root for any of them. Or maybe it's an art style problem.
1. They'd need to actually transport the tanks to the capital, an that's like triple if not quadruple the logistics cost of just deploying soldiers. This is why in modern warfare tanks play the role of "support" for infantry instead of the main fighting force. Protection and overwhelming firepower "only" when needed.
2. Unnecessary collateral damage. They're trying to rescue prisoners, driving tank through the prison itself defeats the whole purpose not to mention the risk of debris falling and damaging the tanks themselves.
Yeah, those dragons are gonna get a new name that starts with a D instead if this series becomes popular enough to get R18 arts.
And that's a lot of bugs. Sarge, my finger itched...🔼▶️🔽🔽🔽
I'll never understand these kinda scene in fiction, especially manga. Like yes, it's the first time in your life you've ever encountered such a creature, but at the same time you're supposed to be a trained combatant. A creature is running amok right in front of your face and you have in your hand a fucking weapon. At least give it a good whack or something instead of just standing there looking pretty. One of human strongest drive is the drive to survive, next to sexual drive, but these fuckers are like pre-historic turkeys when they still don't know they're supposed to take shelter from winter in order to stay alive.
Now where have I seen such a trope...?
Well, either way, the shrine maiden is gonna have to address another "incident".
Well, at least for all its "unrealism" the humanoid shape actually fucking works. Unlike westerner's big stompy mech, most notoriously the reverse-joint walkers, where you take out one leg and damn thing is as good as out of commission.
