Gramps was the one who killed previous duchess. He framed her that she can't give birth and kicked out of the house. Then while chasing after, he found out that she was pregnant, he then killed her along with her child. Then while dying, the duchess summoned a demon and asked him to destroy everything who hurt her. The gramps said the reason to kill her was to protect his own family as both families were after each other 🤷‍♂️

One thing I don't understand. How's it Rubia's fault that her mother after giving birth to her? She wasn't the one who asked for this. She didn't even know anything.
