It was great but I don't like some of the liberties they took. Cuttlefish is very particular about what different beyonders can and can't do. High sequence beyonders like most of those we see in the anime can pretty much only do the exact things their abilities say they can and for everything else they're a normal human.

The anime added a lot of visual flourishes that might make the fights look cool, but undermine the hard magic system and take away from what make the fights so great in LOTM. In the fights in the novel it spends more time showing Klein thinking about how his and his enemy's abilities interact than on the actual combat. Kinda close to Hunter X Hunter fights. I wish they slowed down time more to show Klein thinking like they do in that anime.

Yeah that's a banger similarly incredibly strange and interesting. I kinda feel it has more comprehensible themes than this though. At least at this point in this manga

I'd bet not. Our Supreme Heavenly Demon is a special existence in the world. Wouldn't make sense to have a comparable figure in a similar tomb. They would have left an impact on the world
