Not just that, but she was bullied every step of the way over two years. They demeaned her capabilities, devalued her efforts and reaped all the rewards, leaving her with nothing.

On top of that, it started when she was just 16 and lasted two years. They better be getting their just desserts.
I have a feeling there were no monsters in chapter 1 and they were just lying to get free healing and also find an apothecary - and they probably did it with the charm magic and also in multiple other villages too. Definitely not "heroes."

I think this is chapter 203 because in the novel, chapters 201 and 202 are the "God of Destruction" chapters; and we just finished that, right?
The next group of chapters are:
203 and 204 -> "The Boundary Between Reality and Virtual Reality"
205, 206, and 207 -> "Recover"
and finally 208 is the epilogue.

It's because I have this same exact thing happening whenever I read completed works on this website. I scroll down to see comments complaining about some chapters and I see people complaining "I don't even know what's going on anymore!" or "What is *thing* have to do with anything?"

My first thought is: "uh, it's obvious? Were you not paying attention just two chapters ago?"

It's not exactly fair, is it? So I'm preemptively pointing it out. Don't mind me.

Well, this feels like one of those "stalling" chapters. It isn't, but it feels like it and it's annoying because updates aren't consistent. Once this manhwa is finally freakin' complete and no one is sitting through a hiatus, anyone reading this comment will be like "uh, it's a normal chapter to me!" and they'll be right. Good for them.

Ruby does become a member of the Overgeared Guild. She starts playing the game full-time properly and all. She is currently a huge deal and she only skyrockets upwards. She gets her own church and gains her own deity/divinity points as people worship her. Again, not a lot of details are given beyond that.

Fun fact about becoming a king in satisfy:
One of the tasks is for you, the player, which in this case is Grid -> you must be kind to your citizens and help them with stuff. And you gotta do this uh... 10,000 times? I forget but it is an absurd number as it would take literal months to accomplish. Here's the kicker: the game counts any progress your family members do towards this goal too; so Grid is immediately done with this step because Ruby, alone, has done it over 10,000 times, or whatever the number is.

Ares gets stuck on this step and at one point, he ponders how close Grid is to completing this step.

For the record on Ares, he's just a player too. He's not some sort of evil bad guy or whatever. Like Grid, he's just a dude playing the game and he has allies who are also players and NPCs.
Eventually, Ares does succeed in becoming the SECOND King. Guess who is first place. Ares builds the kingdom of "Valhalla" and has a powerful and unique skill that helps train army units very well - and Grid has gear to Overgear units. The two kings do have some rivalry going on but they do get along great as allies.
