With orcs they have little to no magic resistance so humans could just kind of run wild on them, with elves once the world tree was destroyed they couldn't do s*** with their specialty- spirit magic and basically had to just fight with physical skill, and with dwarves I'm assuming they originally caught straggler groups and never actually found the stronghold, grand forge. On top of that humans are just much much more numerous than the other races combined and could genuinely send a horde into an area until they just beat them down. It's also kind of become clear through behavior and interaction that the other races, either due to their original roots or simply their lower populations, have much stricter and more followed ethical and moral codes that humans simply do not have.

Probably at some point but I'm not actually sure when this takes place like if it's simultaneous or like a year before one of them or whatever.

at no point did i imply one was the other, i merely stated the negative emotional response this caused me, pointed out other things that generally bothered me that may bother others and then offered an expectation to carry forward if you decide to read regardless. or in simpler terms i explained why i don't "just enjoy" this manwha, and warned to temper expectations.

Honestly it's 100% because he just doesn't want to get more involved with royalty than he has to and he can't avoid her because he goes to school with her but he can prevent his situation from getting more entangled. If he shows up in that disguise and tells her he has to go hide she's going to insist that she can hide him better or put a tail on him that he will not be able to shake, honestly the whole situation is FUBAR.

I think it's cuz he's always talking about how he's about to run outta mana, at this point I need like a visual representation of it cuz he said he was low on mana used like eight more spells and then said s*** I'm low on mana again. That and he's technically underpowered as s***, and they are currently being jumped and they're usually being jumped.

I like the character interactions but I can't get over the fact that her "hair" is octopus tentacles because I'm just imagining them in real world context like - what is that texture like? how does it connect to her head? What does the musculature of that look like? How strong was her neck be to handle that much weight? She has regular hair too where do the follicles end? Do they have to be semi-wet like an octopus or they dry up? Are they more like a snakes body where they can be dry? If they grow out of the side can they not be corralled into a back ponytail to prevent it from blocking her ears? Is there a smell? Is it like octopus meat in there more like human meat in the shape of octopus? I shouldn't be thinking this deep but something about that design is deeply uncanny to me like if her head was just a tentacles with no hair I wouldn't have the questions. Once again the writings pretty good and wholesome but my reaction to her character design can only be described as "visceral" (like anytime i think about the fact that most cat girl character designs ear placement would mean that their ear holes are on top of their fuckin skulls)

I like that in a way the story was about new generations dealing with the sins and ramifications of the actions of the past, and forging ways to move forward that may leave less work for the people that come after them. I like the fact that despite all the s*** they've gone through they're still able to smile and laugh and joke, the cruelty of the world will not break them, it will not ruin them and they'll carry the lessons they learn from it but they aim not to let that cruelty grow. I even like that it kind of starts the way it ended, responding to a low-level curse. Even if they go through something Life changing it doesn't always mean all the little things change too. It's not a perfect ending it's not going to leave everyone satisfied it's not a setup for a sequel, it's not some big glorious group up or a massive party at the end, or some big threat they can blitz through at the end to show how much physically stronger they've gotten since the start, it's just a quiet little return to the work they started with. Like a movie about a detective hunting a serial killer ending with him just responding to a another case of breaking and entering. If any of y'all don't like it I'm not going to convince you otherwise but me personally... I like it.
