On the one hand I'm glad they're actually doing anything in service of the shapeshifter half of him after *checks notes* 84 chapters? Really? Wtf?, on the other hand it feels like they just nuked the current plot to do that, I'm not 100% sure why his parents are mad at the CEO. theoretically he was using the main character but realistically the main character pretty much knew anything the CEO had planned, decided he was fine with it and got ample compensation for it, like if he was a child that didn't know his value and they were underpaying him or something this would make sense, but he was well paid, of a decent rank and in a relatively good position, and cutting off funds for that company is also screwing over all the characters that work there and because he just Dipped without talking to any of them - they don't know what's going on. This just kind of feels like a flippant attitude towards a cast you already built up and all the stuff in the previous setting. What is he going to go to a different - Shapeshifter based - company and then bum around there for a while before his parents take him home from that too?
