The only problem is I the audience member know that he's half shapeshifter and they've just done nothing in service of that other than making him strong, like in general the series doesn't seem to really care that much about shapeshifters they're way more interested in immortals, to the point that they mentioned that some people can use magic in this series and I just forgot it by the time an actual magic user showed up the second time because of how rarely they have them do anything.

I give this more points than demons slayers ending at least in the moment because at least this Arc was a dynamic fight where conditions ebbed and flowed, it wasn't fighting a guy who slowly walking forward while swinging around a hundred arms for 20 chapters before one guy gets a good hit in and the Sun starts to rise.

I might have similar feelings if I didn't finish mha's f****** disgustingly long last arc where no characters had satisfying conclusions, half the fights didn't make sense everything is paced poorly and the final villains got literally talked to death, but having read that s*** this is God damn high art. Everything makes sense and follows an explainable path, I actually understand and can sympathize with all the characters motivations in their actions, and most important to me arcs still feels like the previous arcs, they didn't change the storytelling.
